Jennifer is an experienced litigator and courtroom advocate in both the criminal and civil jurisdictions. She is briefed primarily in civil litigation and in the prosecution and defence of matters including crimes, misconduct and breaches of criminal law, public law, regulations, corporate and commercial law.
Prior to joining Murray Chambers Jennifer practised as a State Prosecutor for the Director of Public Prosecutions for Western Australia prosecuting trials and appeals for serious indictable offences. She was Research Assistant to The Hon Robert Cock KC, The Director of Public Prosecutions for Western Australia, for two years in 2005-2006.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Laws and is peer-reviewed and published in evidence, criminal law and constitutional law. Since 2013 Jennifer has lectured variously in criminal law, professional responsibility and forensic trial advocacy at Curtin Law School and in constitutional law at The University of Notre Dame Australia.
